I would have loved to go to Hay Qua!, the round-up of speakers and presenters, including you, sounded amaaaazing. I was thrilled –and then jealous– to see so many Vietnamese doing independent work in the arts, and getting to hang out with each other in one place!!

wow if only i didnt have to go to boston. “hay qua” is a staple of the viet-lish that my cousins, brother, and i liked to employ.
so who won? and have you tried the new place on bedford? its pretty good. my mom even bought like 5 sandwiches to take home.

actually pretty into sau voi corporation on walker and lafayette (i think?)
very fatty grilled pork, i always get banh mi thit nuong, and then you can also pick up some cds or panties while you are there! do NOT get the banh da lon! it is the worst i’ve ever had!!

where in nyc particularly manhattan or flushing would u recommend to get a great banh mi? ill be in town next month! cant make it to hay qua tho, xinh loi!
